Terrafirma Equipment Sales & Rentals Inc. of Edmonton A.B.has announced a new agreement with LINTEC GmbH to represent their innovative line of asphalt mixing plants throughout Western Canada.
With nearly 100 years of experience backing them, LINTEC GmbH & Co. KG in Buxtehude, Germany is a manufacturer of containerized asphalt mixing plants. The LINTEC concept offers numerous equipment options to help clients meet the specific project requirements while the 100 percent ISO sea container design sets the standard for mixing plant mobility.
Two leading technology differences with multiple production options
CSD Series – with unique and patented screen drum technology with capacities from 80 to 240 tph
CSM Series – sieving with conventional vibration screens with capacities from 160 to 400 tph
With equipment possibilities ranging from different burner systems (diesel, gas, heavy oil or combinations), fuel and bitumen tanks, external and integrated hot storage silos and cold and/or hot recycling systems, LINTEC also offers equipment for the production of high quality warm mix asphalt LEP based on a foam bitumen system for a temperature range from 95 – 110°C.
Modular is best
The modular plant concept adopted by LINTEC in the '80s enables easy and economic transport as well as a quick setup time on the jobsite. Apart from stationary use these plants are ideal for projects that require relocations to additional jobsites.

Using the container design means LINTEC plants do not require permissions to transport nor is there a need for a concrete foundation as compacted ground is adequate in most cases.
The ease of container handling allows for easy and efficient assembly, while preventing accidents with incorporated safety-by-design. Additionally, the enclosed containers enable greater emissions control while reducing noise and dust production.
