Honda Engines to unveil new additions to commercial engine lineup at World of Concrete

At World of Concrete 2019, the Honda Engines team will unveil powerful new additions to its general purpose commercial engine lineup – models that offer commercial construction and turf industry customers more versatile power and greater adaptability with exceptional fuel efficiency in a compact package.

  • The Cyclone Air Cleaner, available on the Honda GX160, GX200, GX270 and GX390 engine models, features a smaller footprint and a more compact design than the legacy cleaner it replaced. The Cyclone Air Cleaner fits within the overall engine shape and targets OEM applications where overall engine dimensions are critical.
  • The Honda GXR120 general purpose engine, a model uniquely developed as an ideal source of power for rammers – equipment used to compact soil or other granular material. Offered as a second power option to the reliable GX100 engine, the GXR120 engine is designed to provide superb durability and reliability for heavy-duty applications.
  • Offering the same quality and durability attributes of the GX series engines, GX Pressure Washer Optimized Industrial Series engines are specifically designed for direct-drive pressure washer applications; the Optimized series is available with Honda GX160, GX200, GX270 and GX390 engines. The model lineup delivers Honda's smooth and reliable power, maximized engine performance at wide-open throttle and increased power output in the GX200 and GX390 series engines. These engines also offer a fixed throttle, enabling superior performance, making them ideal for the rental market.

XCMG reveals slate of new products and initiatives at bauma China 2018

XCMG, a global leading construction machinery manufacturer, unveiled ambitious new initiatives, including the establishment of a high-end innovation centre for construction machinery and core components, and a strategic alliance to promote technological development at bauma China 2018, the premier gathering for the Asian construction machinery industry. GOMACO to display Xtreme GT-3600 curb and gutter machine at World of Concrete

GOMACO's new Xtreme GT-3600 curb and gutter machine will be displayed for the first time ever in GOMACO's booth in the Central Hall at World of Concrete 2019. The GT-3600 was the first three-track machine to slipform a 24-inch (610-mm) radius, and now, with the Xtreme package on board, tight radius paving is easier and more efficient than ever before. The Xtreme package adds G+ radius software with slew drives, smart-sensored hydraulics, and intelligence to the GOMACO GT-3600.

Haulotte holds 2018 Open Days for North American customers

Haulotte North America held Open Days 2018, a customer event for U.S. and Canadian customers at their Virginia Beach, Virginia, location October 17 – 18. The event included education, hands on machine demonstrations including an obstacle course, and the opportunity to be the first in the U.S. and Canada to test drive the new HA61 LE PRO 100 percent electric architecture boom lift.

Caterpillar to show wide range of new equipment at bauma CHINA

Caterpillar will display 30 machines as well as work tools, engines and product support capabilities at bauma CHINA 2018. The extensive exhibit will feature Cat general construction, building construction, paving and SEM-branded equipment. More than a dozen Cat Next Generation hydraulic excavators will be introduced at the show.

Bauma China 2018: “The dragon is breathing fire”

The who's who of the industry will be there when bauma CHINA opens its doors again from November 27 to 30, 2018, in Shanghai. More than 3,300 companies will present themselves at Asia's largest trade fair – 300 more than in 2016. Accordingly, 200,000 visitors are expected, which would be a new record. The Chinese construction machinery industry is booming as bauma CHINA approaches.

Registration exceeds all expectations for bauma CONEXPO INDIA

The construction machinery market in India is booming. Infrastructure and construction projects are benefiting from long-term support thanks to reforms passed by the Indian government. These are positive signs that are also reflected in the number of companies signing up for the next bauma CONEXPO INDIA. The event will take place from December 11 to 14. Due to the positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors, the trade fair will be held for the second time at the HUDA Ground in Gurgaon/Delhi.

Number of registrations exceeds expectations for Bauma China

The signs are promising for the largest construction equipment trade show in Asia. Market researchers continue to see upturn in Chinese market. The industry will again meet at the international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles held from November 27 to 30, 2018 in Shanghai.

DEUTZ introduces its first off-highway hybrid drive concept at Intermat

DEUTZ introduced its first off-highway hybrid concept at Intermat. Combining a TCD 2.9 diesel engine and a 55-kW electric motor, the new concept is the first tangible result of the E-DEUTZ program established in 2017, and opens up significant potential for efficiency gains in drivetrain technology. DEUTZ also presented an EU Stage V certified engine range and new in-line engines with capacities from 9 to 18 litres, while the service business presented its free service app ‘DEUTZ Connect' for remote engine diagnosis.

Keestrack to introduce new design for R3/R3e track-mounted impact crusher at Intermat

Keestrack will unveil a new design for its track-mounted impact crusher unit R3 / R3e at Intermat (Stand No.: 5A H098). Thanks to its compact transport and operational dimensions, the 30-tonne model offers all advantages of the diesel-electric hybrid concept, which Keestrack is implementing as an efficient alternative drive system in more and more product ranges of its mobile crushing and screening plants.

Komatsu to showcase hybrid excavator at Intermat

Since 2008, when Komatsu commercialized the first hybrid construction equipment in the history of the industry, a total of 10,000,000 hours of operation have been registered by excavators benefiting from Komatsu‘s proven hybrid technology, which is today at work on over 4,000 units worldwide. Komatsu's HB365LC/NLC-3, a high technology and environmentally sustainable 36-tonne hydraulic hybrid excavator, will be highlighted in its "NLC" narrow configuration at Intermat 2018.

Bauma 2019: Largest trade show in the world becomes even larger

One year before the opening of the world's leading trade show, bauma, on April 8, 2019, Messe München provides an outlook on the latest developments: the site in the east of Munich will be expanded to 614,000 square metres, the number of halls will be increased to 18. The organizer anticipates that more exhibitors will attend than at bauma 2016.

Skyjack has been operating in the global access equipment industry for over 30 years.
