DEUTZ AG announced on 3 July 2018 that it intends to fully withdraw from the DEUTZ Dalian joint venture with First Automotive Works (FAW) in China. DEUTZ AG has now sold its 50 per cent stake in the company to the joint venture partner FAW following approval from the Supervisory Board and agreement on the necessary contracts. The parties have agreed not to disclose any commercial details. The transaction is subject to approval by the Chinese authorities.

TE high-power connectors designed for harsh environments in mining, construction, trucking applications
TE Connectivity (TE) has introduced its high-power AMP MCP 9.5 two position connectors designed for harsh environment wire-to-wire and wire-to-circuit board connections. AMP MCP 9.5 two position connectors are designed to withstand the extreme conditions of the trucking, agricultural, mining, construction and marine industries. The connectors utilize TE's field-proven AMP MCP 9.5 contacts and have a current rating of 78 amps for 10 millimeter² wire.
International Truck announced the standard availability of air disc brakes for the International HV Series and HX Series models. Power management company Eaton and global power leader Cummins Inc. have announced an agreement to form a joint venture for automated transmissions for heavy-duty and medium-duty commercial vehicles. The joint venture will be named Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies.
The first three-cylinder models will go into series production in 2018. They will expand the Hatz H-series with powerful, efficient and compact engines in the power range up to 62 horsepower.

Volvo Penta is revealing its Stage V concept at CONEXPO/CON-AGG in Las Vegas from March 7-11.
