With their well-conceived design, a modern, spacious panoramic cabin and many creative refinements, the GRW 180 / 280 series rollers provide the best possible overview and user-friendliness. Whether with cabin or with open platform and ROPS – the driver has a commanding view of the machine and the construction site at all times. A special feature of the compact rubber-wheeled rollers is their asymmetric frame. It ensures an unobstructed view of the outer edges of the wheels.
Features & Benefits
Viewing channel
An opening in the frame allows the contact surface of the wheels to be seen from the cabin. Lighting provided for night-time operation.
Disc brakes
Powerful braking system with discs on the front axle for machines starting from 20 tonnes maximum weight. Deceleration values well above specified requirements – even at high driving speeds and under maximum ballast.
Wheel suspension
Newly-designed wheel suspension system ensuring uniform pressure distribution over the working surface, irrespective of ground conditions.
Tyre filling system
Allows rapid adjustment of tyre pressure – even during compacting operations.
Servicing access
Stowable, safe cabin access. The steps are also used to provide access to the engine.
KAG
Edge presser and cutting equipment including track indicator for clean chamfering of the roadway. Can be mounted on the right hand side of the rear.
ROPS
Driving position with perfect all-round visibility. Available with XXL panoramic cabin and integrated roll over protection, or as an open ROPS version.
Lighting
Bright internal cabin and frame lighting provide quality and safety. Lights mounted at the rear of the cabin frame also provide illumination for carrying out engine maintenance.
