Generac Pro Line portable generators built to endure tough jobsites

The XC Series portable generators, available in 6,500- and 8,000-watt models, feature a heavy-duty, fully wrapped, 12-gauge-steel-tube X Frame that protects the engine, alternator and fuel tank. Instead of a lifting eye, these units have a steel lifting pocket that fits most forklift and telehandler blades.

The impact-resistant fuel tank features recessed tank edges and a dedicated rocker zone that allows the generator to sway as it is transported without damaging the unit. For manual transport, there is a dual-grip folding handle with a locking mechanism and never-flat wheels with steel hubs.

Generac's new 426 cc G-Force engine utilizes full pressure lubrication, reducing engine component wear for longer life. It features a full-response air intake and targeted heat dispersal design.

The Generac Pro line also includes the diesel-fuelled XD5000E. The 12-gallon fuel tank delivers up to 32 hours of runtime at half load, and it is protected by a fully welded 1.25-inch steel frame. The integrated lifting eye provides ease of transport.

The Tier 4 Final Yanmar LW Series 435cc industrial diesel engine has single-touch electric start with recoil start as a backup. A 120/240V selector switch provides full 120V power. In addition to the two duplex outlets, the XD5000E has one 120V NEMA L5-30R locking outlet and one 120/240V NEMA L14-30R locking outlet for the flexibility to power a variety of tools.
