CON-E-CO Celebrates 60th Anniversary, Showcases LO-PRO Batch Plants at CONEXPO – CON/AGG in Las Vegas

CON-E-CO, celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2017 – is showcasing the CON-E-CO® LO-PRO® 327S and LO-PRO 327D batch plants at the CONEXPO – CON/AGG.

“Since 1957, we have engineered, manufactured, installed and supported concrete batch plants, mixers and related equipment to meet the toughest challenges faced by our customers,” said Neil Smith, CON-E-CO general manager. “Innovation and reliable performance are two hallmarks of our product lines, and the LO-PRO products on hand at CONEXPO – CON/AGG typify why ready-mixed producers and contractors continue to place their trust in us and our excellent network of full-service dealers.”

First introduced in 2014, the CON-E-CO LO-PRO 327D is a self-erecting and self-leveling batch plant that does not require a crane during installation. The plant can be erected on steel mats, eliminating the need for concrete foundations. It features large capacity (18-cubic- yard) aggregate weighing bins with a low 10-foot, 7-inch charging height. The optional central dust control system and frame-mounted water weigh batcher travel in place for easier, faster, and less costly installation.

The LO-PRO 327S (introduced in 2014) offers 327-barrel in-truss cement storage, with an available additional 400, 565 or 735-barrel cement storage silo that mounts directly on the plant. The plant also features the patented LO-PRO “blending” cement batcher, “live bottom” aggregate batcher for unmatched ready-mix quality and in frame mounted dust control system. As with all LO-PRO models, the 327S allows for easy, 180-degree mixer truck charging access.

“We are excited to celebrate this important 60th anniversary milestone throughout the year, and we look forward to continuing to support our customers and the industry over the next sixty years and beyond,” added Smith.
