Waste handler wheel loaders

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc. displayed their new HL760-9A WH (Waste Handler) wheel loader earlier this year at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2014. This rugged, high-performance model is specifically designed for waste handling applications, ideal for landfills and recycling stations where moving, sorting and transporting waste efficiently is essential. Units are designed with a larger bucket than the standard model and guards on the cab window and rear service vent/door.  

Equipped with a low emission, low noise, 222-hp (166 kW) Cummins Interim Tier 4/Stage IIIB, QSB6.7 engine, the HL760-9A WH provides optimum power while remaining fuel efficient. Operators can choose between three unique engine modes: power, standard and economy, which enable the machine to switch between full power and reduced fuel consumption. Plus, a fully automatic transmission features four step shift modes: manual, light, normal and heavy, making it well-suited for any type of working condition.  

These loaders have an operating weight of 40,450 pounds (18,350 kg), a 4.3 cubic yard (3.3 cubic metre) bucket capacity and a bucket breakout force of 35,780 pounds (16,230 kg).
