New Shell Rotella T4 Triple Protection and Shell Rotella T5 10W-30 Synthetic Blend have been developed to meet the new API CK-4 service category for diesel engine oil. Nearly a decade has passed since the last diesel engine oil category, CJ-4, was developed and the standard has lasted well beyond the life of the typical engine oil category. The American Petroleum Institute (API), working with engine manufacturers and oil makers, has completely redesigned heavy-duty engine oil specifications to meet the needs of current and next-generation engines. This has resulted in two new categories - API CK-4 and API FA-4.
The new industry regulations for engine oils by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are designed to drive improvements in fuel economy and emissions as well as greater engine performance, but with just seven months until these new oils are available, now is the time for heavy equipment operators to prepare for the transition.

The follower plate ensures that grease in the reservoir is shielded from the outside air, preventing oxidation. The follower plate also keeps the reservoir clean, so that the grease level always remains visible. The quantity of grease distributed and the lubrication interval can easily be adjusted using the two small rotary switches located behind the waterproof screw cap at the front of the pump housing. The OnePlus is well-suited for smaller machines and less complex systems, such as mini excavators and loaders.
Tire wear results in changes to the outside diameter (OD) of each tire. As a result of this wear, tires can become mismatched (i.e. they do not have the same OD) and this can lead to accelerated tire wear and equipment damage.
