Engcon has intensified its quality efforts in recent years. As the next step in these efforts, Engcon is now investing in two automated test facilities at its factory in Strömsund, Sweden, where every Engcon tiltrotator will be tested before delivery to the customer. The development of these new test stations is a collaboration among Engcon, Electrum (the company that developed the computer software used during testing), and Specma (which supplied all the hydraulic components). Electrum and Specma are also Swedish companies.
Introducing the SL 2 Subcompact Vacuum Lifting System from Vacuworx. They cut everything to pieces: car bodies, steel girders, entire ships and aircrafts. Scrap shears are the choice when it comes to crushing iron and other metals. One of the premium manufacturers is Genesis GmbH, which produces scrap and demolition shears of different sizes in Memmingen (Southern Germany) for users in Europe, Asia and Africa. For the new mobile scrap shears, which has a high cutting force even with a comparatively small carrier, once again turned to Liebherr-Components Kirchdorf GmbH for its robust, compact and durable hydraulic cylinders.
November 2016 saw leading North American foundation equipment distributor Equipment Corporation of America (ECA) appointed ALLU's dealer for its advanced soil stabilization equipment range. According to Italy-based MB S.p.A, the cleaner and more homogeneous the material obtained after a recycling process is, the more value it will have, both economically and ecologically. Being able to use inert materials of quality - or being able to resell them to third-party companies - is now a deciding factor for being competitive. It is precisely for this reason that having in-house machinery such as the highly productive MB Crusher screening bucket, which can quickly select any material that is homogeneous in size, makes all the difference.
Pallet forks are staple attachments when it comes to getting more versatility and productivity from compact equipment, and now, John Deere has an option for material-handling jobs of every scale with the new severe-duty pallet forks, the latest additions to the ever-expanding lineup of Worksite Pro attachments. Two new pallet forks (PF45 and PF60) are optimized to work with John Deere G-Series skid steers as well as G- and E-Series compact track loaders (CTLs), along with another pallet fork that was specifically designed for use on K-Series compact wheel loaders with the skid steer-style Quik-Tatch coupler. All new pallet forks are also compatible with most competitive models.
Bandit Industries, Inc. has expanded its line of skid-steer loader attachments to include the Model SA-25, a hydraulically powered stump grinder attachment that operates off a loader's existing high flow hydraulic systems. The SA-25 features a massive 24.5" diameter Revolution cutterwheel, the same size cutterwheel found on some of Bandit's largest self-propelled stump grinders.
Engcon is updating its fully hydraulic EC-Oil solution, which makes the safe automatic connection of hydraulic tools possible from the operator's seat. The latest EC-Oil is a newly developed blade-type electrical connector with increased contact surfaces. It's been moved to the top of the hitch to protect it better from oil and dirt.
Designed to take advantage of the improved performance capabilities and boom design of the G-Series skid steers and compact track loaders (CTLs), John Deere now offers a 90-inch Light Material High-Capacity Bucket (LM90) as part of the ever-expanding lineup of Worksite Pro attachments. It features a high back for maximum capacity to cut through piles of snow, mulch or other light materials in large quantities, significantly reducing cycle times versus smaller size buckets.

KINSHOFER offers a wide range of attachments, from tiny cable buckets for landscaping construction excavators with just 1-t operating weight, up to giant clamshell buckets and monstrous scrap shears for excavators with up to 100-t operating weight. For handling biomass on industrial or harbour sites, choosing the right attachment for the job depends on the kind of “mass” you want to grab. Wherever giant cranes, pneumatic vacuum elevators (grain blowers) or conveyors are not available or possible, classical grabbing devices should be the first choice. Attached to an excavator, their mobility makes them extra attractive.
